Our participating builders have experience working with consumers who have a wide range of home buying experience. Whether you are a first time buyer with little or no experience or a seasoned buyer with multiple purchases under your belt, My New Home 101 is here to help make the buying process as pleasant and informative as possible.
HOME OWNERSHIP IS A FEW STEPS AWAY
The first step: Take advantage of the wide selection of builders and communities available to you through the My New Home 101 program. Simply search our site for the home, city, builder and/or price that best suits your needs.
The second step: Make the decision to be an educated, active participant in your new home buying experience! Once you have done this, you may register yourself with My New Home 101 so you will be able to save your searches for future reference. At this point your information will be saved in our system so that each time you refer back to our site you can log in and see your past searches or start a new one. Our system will also help you with your search process! By analyzing your searches and matching your criteria with new home models that become available, My New Home 101 will send you automatic updates to keep you up on the latest home additions!
Making a decision on a new home can be a daunting task for even the most experienced buyer. With that in mind, upon registering with My New Home 101 you will be contacted by one of our experienced representatives. Each rep is experienced and knowledgeable about all My New Home 101 participating builders and is there to represent your best interests in the process as well as guide you through the next step!
The third step: Your searches are complete and you have narrowed your list of builders and homes.it's time to go house hunting! It is at this point that your rep will become an integral part of your journey toward ownership. You and your My New Home 101 rep will meet and discuss your choices to answer any other questions you may have. You will then set out to visit each of the communities and builders you have chosen so you can see first hand the quality and options available to you. Through their in depth builder knowledge and experience, your rep will give insight to any new questions that may arise regarding the builders you have chosen to visit.
The Fourth Step: With the tireless insight of your My New Home 101 representative, as well as your personal taste and savvy, you have decided on the home of your dreams! At this point your My New Home 101 rep will step into high gear and work diligently to negotiate the best possible deal for you.
OUR JOB HAS JUST BEGUN
It is at this point in your new home buying process that the My New Home 101 program distinguishes itself from the competition!
Once your new home contract has been signed, you will be given extended access to educational materials through your existing account. This access will take you down a path of knowledge and insight via live classes & online manuals sent directly to your account. These courses help explain the process your home goes through before you get to closing. Included in this material is: 1. Lot Prep & Foundation
2. Framing
3. Sheetrock
4. Bricking & Stone Work
5. Finish Out
6. Walk Through If you have decided to use one of My New Home 101's participating lenders, you will also be given unique insight to the loan process. This too will consist of live classes and internet outlines describing the steps your loan goes through. You will be kept up to date on where you stand in that process.
As your home gets closer to closing, your My New Home 101 representative will keep you posted on potential closing dates and locations. Once at closing you will have the confidence and peace of mind knowing your My New Home 101 representative is right there with you to answer any questions that may arise.
Even after you have moved in, you will be contacted by My New Home 101 periodically to make sure your transition is complete and to answer any further questions you may have about home ownership.
